In a world that rewards fast results, I’ve come to embrace the slow way.
I move slower these days—not by choice, but by condition. FA has changed how I interact with the world.
There’s a richness to the unhurried pace. It allows space for gratitude and adoring God. It welcomes beauty.
In the slowness, I’ve found something precious.
God is here. God is in the present. And His presence is powerful.
Slowness isn’t laziness. It’s living in God’s presence.
When I tend my flowers, it is prayerful. When I divide laundry, God is with me. While straightening the house, I can pray.
If life is rushing you along or even if it feels stagnant, try living today more slowly, with God.
Sit with your tea and Him. Smell the herbs in your kitchen. Listen to the wind. Feel His sun on your face. Pray as you do your daily chores, and love the silence.
Life in the present with God is a jewel. His voice is clear when everything else quiets down.
